Investing in the Future at Trinity Park
Duc recently purchased a three-bedroom house for £730,000 at Lovell Homes’ Trinity Park development in Woolwich, attracted by its strong community feel, excellent transport connections, and reputation as a great place for families. For Duc Nguyen, a 27-year-old data analysist working in London’s tech industry, purchasing a property was not just an investment, it was a decision rooted in opportunity and family values.
“I first came across Trinity Park on Zoopla” Duc explains. “I wanted a new build, and something that wasn’t too restrictive. It felt like a stable, low-risk investment in a desirable, well-connected area, with expected rental income of around £3,500–£3,600 per month. The houses are ready to move into, and after carrying out my research, and being familiar with the area myself, I knew there was strong demand for rental properties here”
Although Duc currently lives and works near Bankside in Southwark, this purchase marks his first buy-to-let investment. Supported financially by his father, who works in the construction industry, Duc’s decision to invest in a new build came naturally.
Duc explains: “My dad is in construction, and his view is simple, new is better. Older buildings can come with hidden issues or structural wear. With Trinity Park, we knew we were getting something brand new, solid, and built to last.”
Duc’s connection to the Woolwich area runs deep. During the pandemic, he spent a year volunteering locally, mentoring children transitioning to secondary school. That experience helped him see the community’s warmth and family-friendly spirit first-hand.
Duc explains: “I used to volunteer with a local youth scheme, which helped me get to know the area really well. We often visited Maryon Park for long walks, it’s such a quiet, peaceful place with great local amenities, including parks, playgrounds, and plenty of green space. During my time spent here I kept thinking how good it would be to raise a family in the area.”
Duc was particularly drawn to how peaceful and well-connected Woolwich is. “It’s quiet, but you can get to Canary Wharf really quickly, and to central London in just over 30 minutes, Woolwich Dockyard to London Bridge is only 20 minutes away, which is great. It has got the perfect balance of calm, family living with easy access to the city.”
While the property is currently an investment, Duc admits he can see himself living there one day. “For now, I’ll be letting it out, hopefully to a family. It’s exactly the kind of home I could see myself raising my own family in later down the line. That’s definitely part of the appeal, it’s not just an investment, it’s something I can grow into in the future.”
Having visited the development several times, Duc says he’s delighted with the result: “I bought before it was finished, but now that it’s complete, I’m really happy with how it’s turned out. It’s a beautiful, well-built home in a great area.”
For Duc, Trinity Park represents both a strong financial investment and a potential future home, one that balances community, convenience, and comfort.
“It’s a lovely area to live in, and the development itself feels modern and high-quality. The house includes a heat pump and solar panels, which means residents’ bills won’t be as high. The garden is a great size and there are also two Juliette balconies including two bathrooms, it’s ideal for families now, or for me in the future, and I know it’s somewhere people will love to call home.”
Trinity Park offers a collection of high-quality one- to three-bedroom homes in Woolwich, located beside Maryon Park and within easy reach of the River Thames and Canary Wharf. Combining peaceful green surroundings with excellent transport links and vibrant local amenities, it’s a thriving neighbourhood designed for modern London living.
Prices at Trinity Park start from £730,000 for a three bedroom house and are ready to move into now.
